It shall be the School Board ETSIME who approve the guidelines for action and establish criteria for organization of educational activities at the proposal of the Academic Committee, among which are:

•  Changing the Curriculum

•  The drafting of the faculty for each  degree

Through the Quality Assurance System results are obtained  concerning satisfaction surveys of the university community and other stakeholders, and through disciplines tabs and  improvements are made by the faculty in the disciplines . All this together with the annual reports of the Commissions support, summarized in a report to be taken into account, if applicable, to review the curriculum and its proposed amendment, with  agreement of the School Board ETSIME.

In the implementation process we have been able to verify that it is necessary to involve a Quality Commission which certify that the decisions made in the corresponding educational coordination as described in the procedures and decisions conform to the verification report. This situation was not clear, since  the Quality commission was not being differentiated from the  Quality representative, and the Academic Planning Committee.

The Quality Committee as a delegated committee of School Board, constituted by the Academic Planning Committee and Deputy Director of Quality and Social Responsibility.  The committee  acts as internal auditor therefore monitoring and evaluating the results of the Improvement Plan, and Performance School Quality.

The functions of this Committee are established in the different procedures that constitute the ETSIME KIMS-UPM, and given its composition and representativeness ensures the participation of all stakeholders in the decision making process  and proposed actions for improvement.

The executive body of the decisions taken in these committees have decided to include the Technical Unit for Quality in this coordination process.

There is also an organizational process Teaching Organization Teaching PR (PR-CL-2.2-001) which describes the process of planning, implementation, coordination and dissemination of the teaching program of the ETSIME of the UPM.
