Service Training Instructor

Job description

In this position, you will deliver high level technical training related to Gas / Global Petroleum systems and to specialized Technician curricula. Your audience will be dealer Instructors, Expert Technicians, and Service Engineers. The type of equipment that you will train on is Caterpillar G3300, G3500, G3600 engines, electronic engines and petroleum transmission. You will be based in Malaga , Spain , and work in a state of the art training facility.
In coordination with other Instructors, you will implement Technician certification programs and work closely with dealers to ensure that their Global Petroleum Technicians meet the appropriate competency standards. 
You will partner with our internal entities to stay on the edge of the evolving technologies used in our products, fully understanding product improvements and applications, supporting the development of training materials to ensure correctness and fit with regional requirements, support Regional Dealer Learning Centers to implement Caterpillar courses, as well as supporting Dealer Instructors in their technical and personal development. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Implement training for advanced and expert level courses
* Provide training to dealer service training instructors
* Make recommendations for tooling and equipment needed for service training programs
* Limited travel – around 10% 

Qualification

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of technical product experience with gas or diesel engines 
• Fluent in oral and written English (additional language/s is/are a pro) 
• Engineering Technical College / University degree or equivalent 
• Passionate about people development, 
• Be a team player, but used to work pro-active and autonomous, 
• Attitude of responsibility, safety, and keeping standards high, 
• Excellent written and oral communication, Listening skills,
• Excellent computer skills, 
• Need to be eligible to work in Spain (EU Citizenship or valid work permit)
