This degree has a single itinerary or specialty that is chosen in the third course:
- Specialty in Mining Surveys and Prospecting, which grants the professional powers of ‘Técnico de Minas, especialidad en Sondeos y Prospecciones’ (Technical Mining Engineer, specializing in Surveys and Prospecting) (as established in the Order CIN/306/2009)
All graduates of this degree will meet the access requirements for the ‘Máster Universitario en Ingeniería de Minas’ (Master’s in Mining Engineering) established in section 4.2.1. Order CIN/310/2009 which sets out the verification requirements for official university degrees that enable the practice of the profession of Mining Engineering.
