PURCHASING WORKSHOP AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES TICKETS
Dear visitors**:
As it has every year for more than thirty years, the ‘Mercadillo’ on the first Sunday of the month will be held in the ‘Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Minas y Energía’ (ETSIME) at the ‘Universidad Politécnica de Madrid’ (UPM) from 10:00 until 14:00, (except in August).
The main part of the exhibition is the ‘Mercadillo’ in the interior courtyard of the historic building of the ETSIME, with specimens of minerals, fossils, gems, and meteorites from Madrid's top traders.
Numerous media outlets attend every year (television networks, radio, and written press). It is for this reason, and the School’s objective of spreading the love of science, that we organize a series of complementary activities around the ‘Mercadillo’ for the family to enjoy.
Thanks to the interest shown by the public, the event reaches attendance figures that exceed 10,000 people a year, over just 11 Sundays.
Before the purchasing tickects, please read the "terms and conditions" in the following PDF
