Numerical simulation, is used to study both physical and natural phenomena, based on the knowledge of the differential equation related to the problem, to which the following numerical simulations are applied, Finite Differences, Finite and Infinite Elements, Outline Elements, and Neural Networks.
The calculation process is based on the following:
Knowing the physical-chemical problem, the first step is to transform it into a mathematical problem with the appropriate differential equation, its outline conditions, and its initial conditions (if the problem is temporary).
Then the mathematical problem is solved by one of the numerical methods, leaving a system of equations that will be solved by direct or iterative methods, calibrating the error, to obtain a single solution of the required precision.
Developing the above process requires knowledge of programming and algorithms, to be able to write all of the calculations into a computer system, that then executes the steps, and finally interprets them.
