Mission 

   The ‘Communications Office’ (gabinete de communicacion) is a service of the ‘Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Minas y Energía de Madrid’ (ETSIME). However, we also work in close collaboration with the ‘Universidad Politécnica de Madrid’ (UPM) ‘Communications Office’, which allows our School to be actively represented in the general UPM output, as well as in the media whose content is linked specifically to our academic center.

What services do we offer?

   Our School is a continuous source of new academic relationships, studies and lines of research, scientific advances and other developments in different areas related to mining, geology, and energy. That is why, in the ‘Communication Office’, we are working hard to ensure that the fruits of all the great work of the ETSIME are shared as widely as possible, beyond our walls.

We are working in a global society, in which we need to find a way to get our messages out to a society that demands this knowledge from us. In ETSIME we have taken to this project with enthusiasm, and we trust that with the necessary collaboration of all those involved, we can achieve our objectives. 

The lines of action carried out by the ‘Communications Office’ are:

• The creation of a ‘News’ section linked to the official ETSIME website where relevant activities can be displayed in the form of news, interviews, reports, research, etc.
• Drawing up a ‘Calendar’, where you can consult the different events planned at the School.
• A ‘Last Minute’ section, where the most current events can be listed.
• The creation of ETSIME accounts on the different social media channels: Youtube Channel, Google +, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin.
