The ‘AULA INDRA ENERGIA’ was established, in 2011, through a collaboration agreement between the ‘Universidad Politécnica de Madrid’ (UPM) and the company ‘INDRA SISTEMAS, S.A’.
The AULA INDRA ENERGIA was created to promote work and studies in the field of information and communications technologies, solutions, and services, as well as the training activities and publications derived from such works and studies. The aim of the partnership is to contribute to the development and consolidation of research, and the advancement of knowledge in the aforementioned field. The UPM oversees the economic and administrative management of the AULA INDRA ENERGIA.

The objective is to encourage collaboration between INDRA and the UPM, in the following activities, in the areas of energy, gas, and water:

Training activities

Cooperation in training programs and educational experiences.

Launch of innovative Bachelor’s and Master’s Theses (TFGs and TFMs), in subject areas of interest to INDRA, with an award for the best TFG or TFM.

Launch of proposals for the elaboration of studies and technical analyses that are of practical interest to INDRA, with funding available for its study and development, provided that this proposal culminates in the publication of articles in specialized journals or with its presentation at national and international congresses.

Delivery of courses and seminars. Conducting dissemination or marketing activities, such as the organization of certain events or conferences on current issues in the sector.

Provision of grants/scholarships for the development of theses in areas of interest for INDRA.
2. Knowledge Dissemination and Transfer Activities

Conducting technical and technological teaching days.

Publications on topics of interest to AULA INDRA ENERGIA.

Promotion of scientific and technical events.

Mutual advice on specific issues related to the activities of both entities

Teaching of AULA INDRA ENERGIA activities.

Other activities considered to be of mutual interest, bearing in mind the availability of both parties and the objectives of the AULA INDRA ENERGIA.
