The School's ‘Audiovisual Media Service’ is available to ensure that all the equipment (projectors, screens, audio, and video players, etc.) necessary for the correct teaching of the degrees taught in the center are functioning properly.
Including, maintaining the facilities across the different events hosting spaces, such as the Main Hall (Salón de Actos), Cloister, Conference, and Reading rooms.
Videoconferences
The School has two videoconferencing units composed of:
- Microsoft LifeCam Studio model webcam
- Samson Meteor Omnidirectional Microphone
This service is provided via the WebEx platform, supplied by the UPM GATE. There is a room for up to 7 cameras and 25 participants, and the possibility of recording the session.
This service must be booked at least 3 working days in advance, specifying the start and end time of the event. Please remember to plan any video conferencing as far as possible in advance, as dates are allocated on a first come first served basis.
SAGA Room
The recording room for MOOC courses is located on the seventh floor of building M3. You can learn more about the possible uses and previous experiences in the SAGA room, by clicking on the following link: https://innovacioneducativa.upm.es/saga/plato-saga
You will need to book the room in advance using the School’s general classroom reservation system. We recommend that you notify the ‘Audiovisual Media Service’ in advance, requesting support for the operation of the system during your first recording session.
