The Summer Course “Campamento de geología en el Pirineo Central” is a UPM training activity within the ‘Escuela Técnica Superior de Minas y Energía’ catalogue and is worth two (2) ECTS. It is sponsored by the ‘Fundación Gómez Pardo', the ‘Instituto Geológico y Minero de España’ and the ‘Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Minas del Centro’.
This course began in 1957, and has continued uninterrupted since then, being of special interest to teachers and students in the field of geology. It takes place in the South-Central Pyrenees.
It is an activity that brings together professionals and students, both Spanish and foreign, so it is a great opportunity for exchange, not only professionally and culturally, but also on a human level.
